In 1988, the Flamingo closed down a portion of their parking lot next to the Imperial Palace and built a casino, O'Shea's, which opened on July 1, 1989. Flamingo did not have to obtain a gaming license since the building was located on the Flamingo property. The casino contains more than 500 electronic games, craps, roulette, the Big Six Wheel, Let it Ride, Caribbean Stud poker and blackjack.

On the second floor is O'Sheas Magic & Movie Hall of Fame, an exhibit of show business, ventriloquism and magic memorabilia.

Restaurants include Burger King, Subway, Orient Express, Jay's Pizza, Baskin Robbins and a few specialty shops, including Ethel M Chocolates.
