Las Vegas has some of the most liberal liquor laws in the country for those over 21. There are no closing hours for liquor sales or for the consumption of alcohol. In fact, many bars are open 24 hours, and alcoholic drinks need not be consumed on premises where purchased. However, the penalties for drunk driving are tough.
In general, drinks are free at most casinos if you are gambling, but be sure you are tipping your server.
