McCarran International Airport is located about one mile from the Strip. The airport is named after former U.S. Senator Patrick McCarran of Nevada. Shuttle service from the airport to the strip is available from several carriers. The airport offers several restaurant and shopping opportunities, as well as slot machines and Video Poker. There are no longer any smoking rooms in the airport.
